MoodBoard

Image
The choices I made in this mood bored was a hospital setting with a bluish lighting. The characters in it is a killer and his "costume" filled with blood and his weapon which is a knife. The other character is the victim of the killer. I made these choices to sort of give off the story of a killer and his victim in a dark scary empty hospital to give the audience a sense of wonder like what happened and what did he exactly do and why. I want the audience to assume that the scene of this mood board is gruesome and that due to the killing being in the hospital, the victim already got hurt previously and the killer came to finish the job. In this mood board I chose the setting in a forest area at night with a bluish moonlighting. The character has a signature weapon which is a slingshot and rocks. The character is a warrior girl. I made these choices because I wanted to create an action feeling in the audience, like the character is sort of fighting for her life in the dark ni...

Bad Boyz: Ride or Die Movie Release: June 7th, 2024 Produced By: Will Smith, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Doug Belgrad Genre: Action/ Comedy The story is essentially very entertaining. This movie is a part of a franchise, and it is the fourth movie of the franchise. This movie keeps the audience entertained throughout the movie as well as interested. Since the movie originally started from the 1998 it kind of created a sense of nostalgia for the people who originally watched when it first came out, they were able to see the same characters from the other movies but with a modern twist and different environment. I would give this movie 20 points when it comes to keeping the audience's attention. It was entertaining with the subtle jokes all throughout the movie and the audience was kept on their seat during the movie with the action-packed scenes almost every minute.  For the camera work for this movie 15 points. The overall camera work for this movie was good, it allowed th...

Analyzing Technical Elements of Film

Movie: Bad Boys: Ride or Die In this beginning shot it is a low angle shot of a Miami sign in the opening scene in Bad Boys Ride Or Die. This shot sort of gives us an effect of being smaller than the sign giving it a sort of intimidating or high reputation, most likely because Miami is a well know tourist spot for many people.  This is a crane camera movement. this establishes the size of the setting compared to the people. this also could help establish to the audience that the setting is a prison given the electrical fence, guards, and the outside gym. It could allow the audience to feel the intensity of the atmosphere with the electrical fence and the prisoners at the gym being all serious and stuff and also the confined feeling of the setting by having the gate being bigger or more closer to the screen than the people. this is an aerial shot. The camera angle is overhead the two characters. This allows us to see the conflict between the two people. This also allows the au...
